Meet The Team 


Ken Murawski 

President / Founder 

Cortlandt Manor, NY

Ken founded HealthCare Links in June of 1993 with a simple mission: to become a sales/marketing resource focused on Corporate Accounts– matching companies with quality and cost effective products and services to major Healthcare Systems, Alliances, Integrated Delivery Networks and Group Purchasing Organizations.


An industry veteran since 1975, Ken was with Kendall Healthcare for 16 years handling a variety of products throughout the acute and alternate care markets including OR, Critical Care, Anesthesia, Urological, and Wound Care. As Director of National Accounts for the last three years at Kendall, Ken had Profit and Sales responsibility for over 25 national and regional buying groups and $300 Million in group sales. Since then, he has helped clients grow their sales through relationships and a strategic approach. With expertise in sales, sales management, sales training, executive sales training/coaching, marketing, promotion, and contract implementation, Ken is seen as a strategic partner of the clients he serves.


Kathy Wozniak


Sedona, AZ

Kathy Wozniak, OT has spent over 20 years in the Healthcare Medical Device Industry. She has held various senior management positions including Vice President of Sales, VP National Accounts and Director of Marketing in the Orthopedic, Wound care and the Human Biologics market. She has built and led Sales, Marketing, and National accounts teams that routinely met and exceeded corporate growth objectives. Kathy has successfully secured National Account Agreements with HealthTrust, MedAssets, Novation, Amerinet, the VA Health System, and multiple IDN agreements. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, speaks fluent Polish, and has a passion for volunteer work, including Big Brother’s Big Sister’s, American Red Cross, Keep Sedona Beautiful, Project C.U.R.E. Arizona, Duet and Founder of WIHOP (Women in Healthcare of Phoenix). In her free time, Kathy enjoys spending time with her family and friends boating, water skiing, and hiking the beautiful Red Rocks of Sedona.


Gary Fredericks

Vice President of Corporate Accounts

Sarasota, FL

Gary joins Healthcare Links with 35 years of medical device industry experience–25 of those years in sales and corporate account management roles. Most recently he served as the Vice President of Corporate Accounts and as a member of the senior leadership team for Alphatec Spine, a global provider of spinal implants and biologics. Prior to Alphatec, Gary spent ten years as the Vice President of Corporate Accounts/Channel Development and as a member of the executive management team for Aesculap Inc. a division of B Braun America. Additionally he has served as an advisory board member for the Association of National Account Executives (ANAE) since its inception.

Jeff Borgstrom

Vice President of Corporate Accounts

Tulsa, OK

Jeff has been on the supplier side all 35 years of his career.  The majority of those years he focused on national accounts which encompassed not only the GPO and IDN customers but also the alternate care specialty markets along with the distributors that service them.  He spent over 20 years in the glove business which afforded him access into just about every medical market as well as some non-medical exposure.  He is a competitive tennis player and loves to mix in some golf and lake time whenever possible.  



Maria Hames


Phoenix, AZ

Maria Hames joined HealthCare Links in March of 1999. She brings with her over 20 years of experience in the health care market. Her background includes working with companies in senior management roles in the area of healthcare corporate development, including developing the corporate account management position for a national third party surgical scope maintenance company.

Maria has been involved in start-up and acquisition, operational/sales management, strategic planning, accreditation, practice management, and managed care contracting including the implementation of disease carve out networks and risk contracting.

As a former Ultrasound Technician and avid health and fitness expert, she handles many of our clinically oriented clients focused on diagnostics and treatment in the areas of radiology, endoscopy, and minimally invasive surgery. With responsibility for GPO and IDN sales growth and contract implementation on behalf of our clients, she simplifies the very complex sales processes at some of the largest healthcare organizations in the country. More importantly, her relationships are built on trust with a sincere desire to see all parties benefit.

Her educational experience includes a Bachelors Degree from the University of Michigan and a Master Degree in Business Management from Pepperdine University.


Harry Bontrager

Vice President of Corporate Accounts

Chicago, IL

Harry is a dynamic professional with broad-based expertise in all aspects of Group Purchasing Organizations and IDN’s including operations, business development and negotiations. He has proven the ability to quickly analyze key business drivers and develop strategies to grow the bottom line. Harry has diverse industry and functional expertise with a goal of helping our clients grow revenue profitability. He has extensive experience working with government contracting; developing FSS agreements and DAPA agreements, as will as helping implement those agreements at the field level. Harry has had over 30 years of experience with Corporate Account responsibility at Johnson & Johnson, Ansell Healthcare, and Smiths-Medical.


Vanda Fredericks

Principle Search Consultant 

Sarasota, FL

Vanda joins our team with over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing with a primary focus on recruiting in aerospace and healthcare. She has excelled as an executive search consultant by having developed an extensive network of candidates, referral sources, and potential clients. Vanda expands the company’s services through in talent search for GPO and IDN Business Development.


Vanda began her career in Europe, where she established herself as Vice President of Business Development for Virtual Reality Media (VRM). VRM received numerous of international awards for the best products in aviation technology in 1996 and 1998. In 1999, she took her expertise to the U.S. where she worked with NASA’s Orion Space Craft and ARES Rockets projects with her focus being on recruitment. Eventually, Vanda focus shifted primarily to Healthcare in 2009, and to present day she has worked tirelessly to be the go-to-person for finding valuable talent needs. More importantly, her relationships are built on trust with a sincere desire to see all parties benefit. 

When she is not hard at work, Vanda likes to spend her time with her husband Gary and her two sweet dogs, Joey and Willy. Vanda loves to soak up the amazing weather Florida has to offer by enjoying the beautiful white beaches, kayaking, cycling, and tai chi. Vanda is an expert at establishing a healthy balance between work and free time.
