Background

​

I’m a Healthcare professional with 46 years of experience working at Mayo Clinic in both healthcare and business roles. These roles included Staff nurse, Nurse Manger, Quality Nurse, Senior Director of Value (CQVA), and Principal Project Lead for Inspirity™.

 

In 2002 I developed the Value Analysis work unit, at Mayo Clinic Rochester Campus, this work unit expanded to all Mayo Clinic locations. As Senior Director of CQVA I have facilitated the Value Analysis process, development of the Product Formulary and managed the Product Recall/ Issue System. In addition, Mayo Clinic the Value Analysis team also provides value analysis support to members of Captis™ a collaborative healthcare network comprised of 90+ members. In 2022 Mayo Clinic along with 2 other organizations launched a new company called Inspirity, with the focus to provide supply chain management, procurement and value analysis support to other healthcare organizations, my role was to service a project management for the roll out. 

 

In 2022 I was recognized as one of top 10 Women in Supply Chain by the Journal of Healthcare Contracting. I have also been a member of the Association of Value Analysis Professionals, serving as the Central Region Director.  I have received Mayo Clinic Excellence in Leadership award and voting staff recognition. I’m currently a Mayo Clinic Emeritus staff member.
